Boiler Installation and Replacement in Cheshire

Boilers & Heating

A new boiler is a significant decision, both in terms of upfront cost and the years you'll be relying on it afterward. Getting the right type and size for your home matters more than chasing the cheapest quote, since an undersized or poorly chosen boiler can leave you with disappointing performance or higher running costs for the entire lifespan of the unit.

Types of boiler we install

  • Combination boilers, heating water on demand without a separate hot water cylinder, suited to smaller households or properties without space for a cylinder
  • System boilers, working alongside a separate hot water cylinder, suited to larger households with higher simultaneous hot water demand
  • Regular (conventional) boilers, working with both a hot water cylinder and a cold water storage tank, common in older properties retaining this traditional setup

What we assess before recommending a boiler

  • Your household size and hot water usage pattern throughout the day
  • Available space for the boiler itself and any associated cylinder or tank
  • Your existing pipework and radiators, and whether they're compatible with the new system or need updating alongside the boiler
  • Your current and likely future heating demand, including any planned extensions or loft conversions that would add to the load

Why the cheapest boiler isn't always the best value

A boiler that's slightly undersized for your actual demand will work harder than it should, which affects both efficiency and longevity. We'd rather recommend the right size and specification, even if it costs a bit more upfront, than have you disappointed with performance or facing premature wear because the boiler was never properly matched to your home.

What's included in installation

We remove the old boiler safely, install the new unit to manufacturer specifications and current Building Regulations, connect to your existing or upgraded pipework, and commission the system fully, checking it's operating correctly across all its settings before considering the job finished. We also register the installation with the relevant authority for warranty and Building Regulations compliance purposes.

This depends on your household size, hot water usage, and the number of radiators or heating outlets the boiler needs to supply. We'll calculate this properly rather than estimating based on rough rules of thumb.
