How we detect gas leaks

Once it's safe to investigate, we use gas detection equipment to locate the source of a leak accurately, rather than guessing based on where the smell seems strongest, since gas can travel along pipe runs and through voids before becoming noticeable in a particular room. This includes checking appliance connections, pipework joints, and the supply pipe itself.

Repairing the leak
